Simple Instructions Install game from scratch Install the rockstar title update 8 (dont worry if it errors about not detecting RGSC or GFWL) you MIGHT have to install the redistributable file from the installers file Set GTA4.EXE and LaunchGTA4 to administrator, and run in compatability for windows 7 The game will launch to a black screen, just leave it for a bit. ready to go! also, put the following in your launch params in steam -nomemrestrict -norestrictions Lastly, the game does not seem to like being alt-tabbed.
